My internship experience

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.

So early this month I manage to completed my industrial training. My training was done in subMAP Geophysical Services which is based in Setia Alam.

Alhamdulillah with about 5 months of training there, I learned a lot of things especially on data processing. I have been guided by the boss himself, En. Jamaludin Othman which have about 30 years of experience in geophysics.

During my training, I also have been provided with very useful tools like Surfer and Oasis Montaj which I have never experienced before and also templates which can be used for data reduction.

Besides, I also went for a 3 days fieldwork which is in Perak for groundwater exploration by using 2D-ERI (resistivity) method. The fieldwork was very tiring as most of the line are on the extreme topography. After all, we survived.

So after I completed my internship, what I need to do next is to present on what I have gained and learned during my 5 months training in front of my supervisor and lecturer in USM.
